Guidelines to use/access the Shared Mailbox 


Step 1 

There are two options to access the Shared Mailbox. Please refer to Option 1 and Option 2.  

Options 1 

 

  1. 1. Open your mailbox via outlook webmail. 

  1. 2. Go to the top right side of the outlook, and follow the steps below: 


 

 

  1. 3. Then you will be redirect to the shared mailbox  

  1. 4. Shared mailbox does not require password to login as it is already delegated to the specific user only can open the mailbox. 

 

Options 2 


  1. 1. Open your mailbox via outlook webmail. 

  1. 2. Right click on the “Folders”. Then, click on the “Add Shared folder or Mailbox”.

  1. 3. A popup to key in the mailbox address will appear. You need to key in the correct mailbox address. Then, click on the “Add” button. 


 

 

  1. 4. After successfully adding the mailbox, you shall see the shared mailbox on the left side of the outlook as per screenshot.  

 

  

Step 2 

Step 2 is done is you want to send an email using the Shared Mailbox address via your own individual mailbox. 


1. Go to the setting.

  1. 2. Go to the Mail à Compose and reply à Message format à Tick on the “Always show from.” Then close the setting.

  1. 3. Try to compose an email. Click on the “From” button. Then select “Other email address” and key in the shared mailbox address. Then you will be able to send an email using the shared mailbox address.
